How ya doing?  We haven&#039;t chatted in a while so I thought I would visit your site.

I just viewed your 3 survey reports and wanted to thank you for the time you have spent working on these projects.  They were very insightful and have spurred me to thinking even deeper.  I thought I would drop you a note and get some additional insights from you.  We (CBT and World Bible School) are closely related in our goals and mission. I hope we can help each other achieve those goals.  I&#039;d like to ask some questions because I feel you are working in the heart of an area that fascinates and excites me with its potential.

I found several things in your survey reports that were interesting.  For example, the first video reported that building the faith-based relationships was not as important as delivering the Truth. Yet, in the second video, people did not feel that social media was personal enough.  I thought those two points stood in an interesting contrast. What did you conclude from those points?

Another thought that came to my mind as I began listening to the third report was that you seem to be working with some assumptions.  These are some assumptions that I have wrestled with in WBS and wondered if they were accurate assumptions as we try to help teachers use social media with their WBS students.

1) Many Christians have a desire to be engaged in personal evangelism - whether face-to-face, online, on short-term mission campaigns.  (By personal evangelism, I mean the evangelism includes opening the Word, and discussing matters of faith, sin, and salvation.  I do not mean works that are solely benevolent missions such as medical/dental work, giving food, house building, and other service projects.)
2) Christians today know the Book.  They are still considered &quot;people of the Word&quot; and want to share it with people who do not know the Word. 
3) Christians are aware of the global social media phenomenon and its implications for missions/evangelism.

Then, I had one more question, that is not an assumption, but a practical question that came to my mind.  If someone were to connect with a seeker using social media, and the seeker wants to be baptized, how do you recommend the Christian find a local body of believers for the seeker.

What&#039;s next on your To Do list?  You sure seem to be on the right track here!
